August 16, 2012 in Uncategorized

After the tragedy on August 5, 2012 where a shooter took the lives of 6 people in a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, Pagans all over have reached out to join the efforts to support the survivors of this event.  Several Pagan organizations have made public statements or donations in support of this cause.

Many bay area organizations and spiritual leaders have been among those who have donated money and prayers towards the aftermath of this tragedy.  The Marin Interfaith Council, Interfaith Center at the Presidio and the San Francisco Interfaith Council are among the organizations that organized silent vigils for prayer and Solar Cross was one of the local organizations that donated money to the fundraiser to cover medical costs for survivors.

Solar Cross provided a resource for those who may be interested in donating for medical care for the survivors.
